Sweet Prospect, an acoustic instrumental trio has a relaxed soothing sound performing music from Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, and from the rich source of American Traditional music.

The instrumentation is primarily duo hammered dulcimers and acoustic guitar with recorders, bowed psaltery and other instruments adding interest to their unique sound.

Sweet Prospect began performing on March 17, 2000 in the Florida panhandle and now performs in many Southern and Midwestern states at festivals, concerts, churches, weddings and for special events.

Four recordings, "Trees", "A Moment's Rest", "Cold Frosty Morn" and "Lark Song" are available.

Sweet Prospect is thrilled that their first CD, "Trees" was produced by Larry Butler, who has over 100 gold and platinum records and Grammy Awards to his credit.

Larry Butler was quoted in Pensacola Today Magazine as saying, "The first time I heard their music, it made me smile. This music is so emotional, so real there is no pretension, and you can feel it."
